New CIs Trained in the Middle East

In what was yet another personal first, John Kellow recently travelled to Saudi Arabia and Kuwait to conduct training courses for two new CI companies, Al-Areeky and Metex. Both companies are major players in their respective countries and their appointment represents another important breakthrough in Siemon's rapidly expanding Middle East market.

John, who is about to take up a new position of Regional Sales Manager for the Middle East and Central Africa explains, "our business in this part of EMEA has seen very healthy year-on-year growth thanks to the efforts of long-established installer partners in Dubai, Abu-Dhabi, Qatar and Lebanon. However, our penetration in other Gulf countries has, up to now, been very small. Thanks to the recent establishment of a proper distribution channel based in the Gulf, we are now in a position to tap into this vast market and both Saudi Arabia and Kuwait are wealthy countries with enormous business potential."

Both training courses were received very well and in Saudi Arabia John was presented with custom-tailored traditional Arab dress by the Al-Areeky management team to welcome him into the Arabian business world.
