Siemon appoints Channel Sales Specialist

London — Siemon™, the global structured cabling specialist, has announced the appointment of Graeme Stoker in the newly created role of channel sales specialist.

Graeme, who has spent the last five years developing internal sales, will be responsible for Siemon's channel partnerships in the UK and Africa. His focus will be to build and strengthen relationships with Siemon's distributors, Certified Installers (CIs) and Distributor Listed Installers (DLIs).

"With a dedicated resource in the channel Siemon can offer an immediate point of contact for our distributor and installer network, and a valuable aid to securing new business", comments Graeme.

In his previous role Graeme was focused on business in Africa and Iberia. Siemon - one of only three structured infrastructure companies worldwide capable of true global supply partnerships - now has a very strong position in Eastern Africa, including Kenya, Tanzania and Uganda and a fast developing market share in West and Northern Africa.

Keith Astin, managing director for EMEA, said that Graeme's appointment illustrates Siemon's commitment to supporting their channel partners:

"Graeme will manage and develop our channel programmes. His previous success in growing our market share in other parts of EMEA demonstrates his ability and we want him to help our channel partners to win business by providing the best technical performance and broadest range of solutions," he said.
